В статье рассматривается современное состояние юаня и роль валюты КНР в международном платёжном обороте. Подчёркивается, что валютно-финансовые органы страны проводят активную политику по интернационализации своей валюты, стремясь превратить юань в ведущую валюту мира в условиях возрастающей экономической мощи Китая. Отмечается роль китайской расчётной инфраструктуры CIPS, а также системы PVP, обслуживающей расчёты в рублях и юанях. Уделяется внимание состоянию юаня в период обострения торговых связей Китая с США. Подчёркивается, что между Россией и КНР расширяются внешнеторговые контакты с использованием в расчётах между ними их национальных валют.
The article deals with the current state of the yuan and the role of the PRC currency in the international payment turnover. It is emphasized that the country s monetary authorities are pursuing an active policy of internationalization of its currency seeking to turn the yuan into the world s leading currency in the face of China s growing economic power. The role of the Chinese settlement infrastructure CIPS as well as well as the PVP system, serving settlements in rubles and yuan, is noted. Attention is paid to the state of the yuan in the period of aggravation of trade relations between China and the United States. It is emphasized that foreign trade contacts between Russia and China are expanding with the use of their national currencies in the calculations between them.
