В работе представлен обзор общих текущих тенденций в мире, влияющих на дальнейшее развитие стран и уровень их конкурентоспособности по отношению друг к другу. На основе изученной литературы использован ряд показателей для характеристики как уровня качества образования в обществах в целом, так и уровень их социально-экономической активности. Целью работы послужило страновое сравнение вложенных средств в образовательный процесс и их отдача с точки зрения экономического потенциала страны. Несмотря на востребованность в доработке самой модели с точки зрения использования и других показателей, результаты исследования можно считать удовлетворительными, а цель работы достигнутой.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of this research paper is the analysis of impact of higher education quality on social and economic indicators both in Russia and in the world in conditions of digitalization. This paper includes the overview of general current trends in the world, influencing on further development of countries and its competitiveness level to each other. Based on the literature review a list of indicators for both the quality of education and social and economic activity in countries has been used. The target of this paper is the comparison of countries in accordance with investments into the educational process and its return for the economic potential of a country.
