В статье показано, что увеличение пенсионного возраста в развитых странах, как следствие роста продолжительности жизни и иждивенческой нагрузки на работающих, имеет противоречивое воздействие на рынок труда. Не ясны последствия перехода развитых стран к новому технологическому укладу. Но, несомненно, что одним из факторов укрепления общественного положения пожилых людей является развитие системы образования «длиною в жизнь».
The article shows that the increase in the retirement age in the developed countries, as a consequence of the increase in life expectancy and dependency ratio on working, has contradictory effects on the labour market. Effects of the transition developed countries to the new technological order are also unclear. But there is no doubt that one of the factors contributing to the strengthening of social status of the elderly is a lifelong education.
