Целью статьи является анализ влияния промышленного доминирования на деятельность предприятий угольной промышленности. В рамках исследования проанализирован мировой опыт изучения промышленного доминирования, позволяющий выделить базовые условия, необходимые для возникновения данного явления. На основе полученной информации авторами разработана и описана методика диагностики, позволяющая достоверно оценить наличие промышленного доминирования, а также характер и степень влияния данного явления на деятельность предприятий отрасли.

The article presents the results of author's research of industrial dominance' impact on economic performance of coal mining companies. According to the author, the impact of industrial dominance lies in the sphere of decreasing the firm's access to agglomeration effects. The basic conditions which are needed for the emergence of industrial dominance are presented. The author presents the way to diagnose existence of industrial dominance along with the ways how industrial dominance affects the access to agglomeration effects for companies within industry.
